Replacing a Card vs Cancelling
What happens when you update your payment method.

- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter your new card details
- Click Save
What Happens
- Your subscription continues uninterrupted
- Future charges go to the new card

Cancelling stops your subscription at the end of the billing period.
To Cancel
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
What Happens
- You keep access until end of billing period
- No charges after cancellation
- Your data is preserved (read-only) for 30 days
- You can reactivate anytime
When to Replace vs Cancel
| Situation | Action |
|---|---|
| Lost card | Replace |
| Stolen card | Replace immediately |
| Card expired | Replace |
| Don’t need the service | Cancel |
| Switching providers | Cancel |
Important
- Never cancel if you plan to reactivate later (you’d lose Founders pricing)
- Replace cards immediately to avoid service interruption
